Custom Cabinetry

cabinets03After breaking into the remodel industry some 15+ years ago it became apparent that custom cabinetry was going to be a big part of our projects. Pre-built cabinets can be used in some cases to save costs but the majority of projects call for a seamless, integrated, custom application. Many clients get nervous at the phrase “custom” as they tend to see dollar signs. To help save costs we have built up our own cabinet shop in-house. It allows us to control costs, schedule and above all the quality of our product.

In our standard build of cabinets we use a pre finished maple plywood construction for our boxes. This assures a true, straight and very durable box. Our face frames are built and applied with back screws. The beauty to this construction is there are no nail holes on the face of the cabinet that must be filled with putty. This is extremely nice in natural wood cabinets for a clean look.

cabinets01We use under mount soft close drawer glides. This gives a sturdy feel to the drawer as well as hides the glides under the drawer box. It keeps a clean look to show off the dovetail joints of our solid maple drawer boxes.
